Twitch & Content Era

2018 was the year the infrastructure aligned. A capable PC, stable internet, and the time to commit to a schedule. The Twitch channel at twitch.tv/vortekacademy became a live layer on top of the existing community — real-time, interactive, and a different kind of connection than the Discord server or YouTube uploads provided. Euro Truck Simulator 2 was the opening game: methodical, long-form, atmospheric. Not the obvious esports flex — which was exactly the point. The content wasn't about performing esports credibility; it was about genuine engagement. The Rocket League tournament work that followed grew in part out of the audience and relationships built during this streaming phase.
